“Research shows that play is not just joyful and energizing — it’s deeply involved with human development and intelligence.”   –Dr. Stuart Brown, pioneer in research on play

645 Euclid Ave is designed around the enjoyment of life, indoors and out. The heart of the home is a sun-filled atrium playroom, which opens to over one-third acre overlooking San Francisco Bay. First built as a smaller home in 1937, the structure was transformed in the 1950s by renowned architect Robert Ratcliff with the enclosure of the atrium and addition of the upper wing, and was re-imagined more recently by Kathy Rogers of Berkeley’s Sogno Design Group, with a focus on the kitchen.
